PHD’s Baby & Maternity Closet is a welcome service to women who are struggling to meet the needs of their family. Approximately 250 – 300 families visit the Closet each month to receive donations of food, diapers, formula and clothing. In 2010, the value of the items given away totaled more than $160,000!
The Baby Closet would not be possible without the help of generous community donations or volunteers to help organize and distribute them. As a Baby & Maternity Closet volunteer you will have the opportunity to connect and interact with a variety of people including other volunteers, donors to the Closet and clients who visit the Closet to receive the items for their families.
The Baby & Maternity Closet would be a great fit for anyone looking to see an immediate impact on the families helped by PHD.
