PHD’s Educational Outreach is designed to promote parent/youth communication through education on successful relationships, healthy sexuality, and anti-bullying. Since 1997, PHD’s Educational Outreach team has been helping schools and community organizations enhance their health, parenting, family and consumer science curricula. Our programs have reached thousands of students, parents, and teachers each year through presentations offered in school or group settings.
- Independence Highway® empowers students to make healthy choices related to relationships and sexuality and to avoid high-risk behaviors.
- Now We’re Talking!® enhances parent/adolescent communication on the topics of healthy sexuality and relationships.
- The Friendship Project is designed for elementary school students and focuses on anti-bullying, character development, and how to be a good friend.
