PHD was thrilled to be featured on WGN as a resource for those pregnant or parenting young children. WGN interviewed two of PHD’s clients and found out, first hand, why the counseling center is invaluable to women who are struggling with maternal issues.
PHD (Preservation of Human Dignity) is a counseling center for maternal health and well-being. PHD offers comprehensive clinical counseling, case management, education and baby closet services to women who are pregnant, and women and men parenting a child age three or younger. PHD’s Educational Outreach programs promote parent/youth communication through education on successful relationships, healthy sexuality and anti-bullying. PHD does not have any geographical boundary limits on the clients they serve and is not religiously or politically affiliated.
